HYUNDAI MOTOR GROUP
Hyundai Motor Group transitioned to a holding company system to increase synergy between affiliates and developed Group CI accordingly. The group CI is based on Hyundai Motor’s CI logo type, the flagship company of Hyundai Motor Group. The group CI contains the management philosophy of “realizing the dreams of human society by creating a new future with creative thinking and endless challenges.” The straight horizontal line represents the realization of the spirit of infinite responsibility, the realization of possibilities, and the realization of humanity, and symbolizes the path leading to a better future that Hyundai Motor Group will create. Along with the group CI, design guidelines and principles were established to provide consistent and autonomous identities to the affiliates. To solve the conflicting design issues of consistency and autonomy, we created dedicated fonts and logos.
